By downloading, accessing, browsing, or using the DEET Portal which is owned by the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Telangana , you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms of Use (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the DEET Portal.
1. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for any communications or content you share on the DEET Portal, including any transmission, upload, or posting of information. You acknowledge and accept all consequences arising from such actions.
2. Assumption of Risk
Your use of the DEET Portal is at your own risk. The DEET Portal and its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the DEET Portal will meet your requirements or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
3. Consent for Data Use and Sharing
By using the DEET Portal, you hereby give your consent to the DEET Portal to use, store, and share your information. You also consent to the sharing of your data with other Government Departments and the stakeholders involved in DEET's services, including Jobseekers, Employers, Skill Training Institutes, Educational Institutions (both government and private), and Third Party Services, for the processing of services and to facilitate better employment opportunities.
4. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the DEET Portal, its creators, and its affiliated entities from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including attorney fees, arising from or related to your use of the DEET Portal, your violation of these Terms, or any breach of our Privacy Policy.
5. Changes to Terms
Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Telangana reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the DEET Portal following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Government of India in specific to Telangana State and the Jurisdiction is Hyderabad.
7. Account Deletion Guidelines
We value your privacy and understand your need to manage your account. If you choose to delete your account, please review the following:
- 1. What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
- • All your data and content associated with the account will be permanently deleted.
- • This action cannot be undone.
- 2. Steps to Delete Your Account:
- • Log in to your account.
- • Navigate to the Settings section from Menu.
- • Click on Delete Account and follow the prompts to confirm.
- 3. Important Notes:
- • Deleting your account will remove your personal profile, resumes, and other files you’ve created / uploaded within our DEET Telangana - Job Portal.
